Hideaway House Concerts brings exceptional touring and regional musicians together with music lovers in homes and small private venues throughout Durango and the Four Corners. These gatherings are relaxed, personal, and all about enjoying good music in good company.

A Different Kind of Concert
Forget the big stage, bright lights, and crowded venues. A house concert might take place in someone's living room, on a backyard patio, or in a small gathering space where everyone has come for one reason: to listen.

Artists share original songs, tell the stories behind their music, and connect with audiences in ways that aren't always possible at a traditional concert. Most gatherings are private, with guests contributing a suggested donation that goes directly to the performing musician.

It's a wonderful way to discover new music, support independent artists, and spend an evening with friends.

Meet Your Hosts - Denise & Charles Leslie
Music has been a big part of life for Denise and Charles Leslie, both personally and professionally.

Denise, a longtime arts marketing professional, publisher of Arts Perspective, and musician herself, has spent decades connecting artists with audiences. Charles, Director of the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College, has devoted his career to presenting live performances and creating opportunities for people to experience the performing arts.

Together, they've worked with musicians and performers from across the country, but there's something particularly enjoyable about bringing an artist into a living room and sharing an evening of music with a small gathering of friends.

Hideaway House Concerts grew from that shared love of live music and the belief that some of the best musical experiences happen when artists and audiences get to know one another.

And, of course, there's always room for one more music lover.

Hosting a house concert is easier than you might think. You don't need a large home, fancy sound equipment, or an elaborate setup. Just a comfortable space, a few chairs, and friends who enjoy live music.

Hideaway House Concerts helps connect hosts with touring musicians and coordinates the details to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Hosts provide the space and invite guests, while suggested donations support the performing artists.

Whether it's a living room, backyard, or another small private setting, hosting a concert is a wonderful way to share music with friends while supporting the musicians who create it.
