Intimate Musical Experiences in Durango, Colorado

Where music feels personal, stories unfold naturally, and community gathers close.

Hideaway House Concerts brings artists and audiences together in warm, welcoming living rooms throughout Durango and the Four Corners region. These listening-room evenings offer something rare—a chance to slow down, connect, and experience live music up close, the way it was meant to be heard.

What Is a Hideaway House Concert?

An intimate evening with friends—old and new—listening to musicians share the stories and songs that shaped their lives. No stage. Just a cozy room, attentive listeners, and artists performing a few feet away. Concerts are hosted in private homes, with guests offering a suggested donation that goes directly to support the musicians. Some performers are touring through the region; others live and create right here in our mountain towns.

Artists Who’ve Filled Our Living Rooms

Over the years, we’ve welcomed an incredible mix of touring and regional musicians whose artistry shines in small spaces:
The Young Fables • Brother and the Hayes • Andy Sydow • Goldpine • Ely Cartwright • Thom Chacon • Daniel Ward & Heidi Swedberg • Marnie Ward • Stephen Espaniola • Victoria Vox • Emily Scott Robinson

Many of these artists are stepping onto bigger national stages—and Durango audiences heard them here first, in the warmth of a home.

Why House Concerts?

Because music becomes something deeper when it fills a living room.
Because conversations stretch long after the final chord.
Because connection, creativity, and community thrive when we create space for them.

Host a Hideaway House Concert

There’s something magical about live music shared in a living room, on a patio, or beneath the stars. Hideaway House Concerts bring nationally touring and regional artists into intimate spaces where music, conversation, and community come together in unforgettable ways.

Interested in hosting? You don’t need a concert hall—just a welcoming space and a love of bringing people together. I’ll help guide the planning, coordinate the artist, and make the process easy and enjoyable.
