What Is a Hideaway House Concert?

An intimate evening with friends—old and new—listening to musicians share the stories and songs that shaped their lives. No stage. Just a cozy room, attentive listeners, and artists performing a few feet away. Concerts are hosted in private homes, with guests offering a suggested donation that goes directly to support the musicians. Some performers are touring through the region; others live and create right here in our mountain towns.

Artists Who’ve Filled Our Living Rooms

Over the years, we’ve welcomed an incredible mix of touring and regional musicians whose artistry shines in small spaces:
The Young Fables • Brother and the Hayes • Andy Sydow • Goldpine • Ely Cartwright • Thom Chacon • Daniel Ward & Heidi Swedberg • Marnie Ward • Stephen Espaniola • Victoria Vox

Many of these artists are stepping onto bigger national stages—and Durango audiences heard them here first, in the warmth of a home.

Why House Concerts?

Because music becomes something deeper when it fills a living room.
Because conversations stretch long after the final chord.
Because connection, creativity, and community thrive when we create space for them.
